I've read the Harry Potter series within the last few years. I read HP and
the OotP pretty much as soon as it came out. I also read The Hobbit, but I
haven't read the LotR.
I also read quite a lot of academic texts (not whole books mind you) because
I am studying and they are compulsory. I read a biography of Tenzin Palmo
called /Cave in the Snow/. But in the last few weeks I've been on the mid
year break and I admit I did absolutely nothing but bludge. I played
Colosseum and V8 Supercars Race Driver mainly.
